About my project
I worked with landscape designer John Tallis to bring my vision of Neo Flora to life - an immersive indoor plant garden debuting at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2025. Set in a grungy, cyberpunk-inspired teenager’s bedroom, the space highlights the therapeutic power of houseplants, showcasing how plant care can provide comfort and creativity in urban environments.

John Brookes-Denmans Foundation

The Foundation promotes the design legacy of John Brookes MBE, one of the most influential garden designers of the 20th century. Its mission is to inspire students, professionals and homeowners by advancing the art of garden and landscape design. Central to this is the ongoing development of Denmans Garden in West Sussex as a living centre for design excellence.
After the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Neo Flora will be reimagined and installed at Denmans Garden, where visitors will be able to explore key elements of the exhibit and continue to be inspired by its message around plants, wellbeing and creativity.
HAWS
Thank you to HAWS for making custom steel plant pots to help house our plants! The colour, Cobolt Candy, was used specially for this project.
Horti House
Horti House specialises in growing and selling British houseplants, with a particular focus on sustainability and peat-free growing practices, and generously donated a large number of houseplants for this project.
Horticus
A fresh and creative take on plant walls – Horticus’ hexagonal planters form modular living wall kits that make imaginative planting super easy. They custom-built these colourful frames specially for our design.
Kings of Neon
Our custom neon lighting was made possible by the support of Kings of Neon.
Farplants
Farplants donated plants from their new Outdoor-Indoor range. Between their collective of West Sussex Nurseries, they grow over 11 million plants a year.
Greens Team
Ever wondered where those plants in movie sets come from? How do they create a jungle right in the middle of Pinewood Studios? The answer is Greens Team. They kindly supplied us with some stunning specimen plants for our room.
Westland
Westland have supported this project by providing soil for our terrarium and planters with their houseplant soil mix, as well as houseplant feed to keep them all looking their best throughout the show.
Neo Flora was created to shine a light on the mental health challenges faced by young people growing up in urban environments with limited access to green space.
While connecting with nature can be incredibly beneficial, it’s just as important to highlight the support available for those navigating mental health struggles.
We're proud to hilight PAPYRUS, the UK charity dedicated to preventing suicide and promoting positive mental health in under-35s.
