Welcome to my online portfolio

Hi there! My name is Megan, and I have a passion for design, photography, and engaging new audiences within the horticultural industry.

By now, you will have read or be part way through my cover letter and learned a little about why I believe my skills match up with your job role.

As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words," so what better way to illustrate my points than by showing you some of the examples I mention in my letter?

Don't forget to check out the social media channels that I run for more content examples:

I also run the social media channels for the Young People in Horticulture association, you can check out the YPHA socials here:

Product Photography

I have worked with brands on a freelance basis to create content for their point-of-sale materials, social media, and websites.

Visual branding is important as it represents what the company aims to achieve. Cohesive imagery allows the brand to be recognisable and memorable to viewers.

The images in the gallery below are examples of product photography that I have taken for various brand projects.

I have a keen eye for design and creating imagery that has an impact.

Here are a few examples I have had permission to share:

Developing New Skills

I am continuously striving to develop new skills to present ideas innovatively and engage with people globally through my own social media channels on YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok.

For example, I learnt Blender, a 3D modelling software, to 3D print a custom part for a plant pot I was creating.

I aim to engage with people through videos on various technologies, including working with Jesmonite, crafting, and other digital tools. Despite the focus of the videos not being plants themselves, the videos will always have a link back to plants and nature.

This approach allows me to reach new audiences outside the industry and draw them into the world of horticulture.
